Culture & tradition

Tradition here in the valley is not history, but is lived. Experience musical and culinary crafts, created in former times and handed down, as well as modern life.

For instance, the church bells are still rung by hand in the Valley of Anterselva. Several times in summer, traditional processions take place, in which many locals enjoy wearing their "Puschtra" costume.

In autumn, when the cows are brought back down from the mountain pastures into the valley, you can experience with us the traditional "Almabtrieb". The "Kranzkuh" is particularly beautifully adorned with a floral wreath, hence the name "Kranzkuh" ("wreath cow").
