The many wild waters and mountain lakes, together with the Hochgall and
Wildgall glaciers, lend the landscape its particular allure. At the foot
of the eastern flanks of these two ice giants, which are more than
3000m high, the wild Lake Anterselva, the third largest natural lake of
the South Tyrol, flashes bright blue.
On the high mountain
trails, one may encounter chamois and marmots, ermines, golden eagles
and snow grouse. Here in the Valley of Anterselva nature can still be
pure.
