Kronplatz ski area
A few kilometres from Anterselva lies the Kronplatz ski area, which has
over 31 lifts and fulfils all wishes: sporting runs, broad carving
pistes, a sunny 360° view and numerous après-ski taverns, offering
fantastic conditions for skiers and snowboarders.
The early bird... Try it out: Conquer your weaker self, have breakfast a
little earlier and be the first on the mountain.
You can taste
and smell the cool morning air. And then onward to the piste! “Ironed”
flat, the traction is good across the wide virgin carving slopes in the
direction of Olang. With a wide radius in the upper area, flying is
surely no more beautiful. Then the radius changes, becoming shorter, as
you find your rhythm down to Olang. Whoever manages this with no
stopping or wobbly knees deserves respect!
And only now do the
others begin to arrive at the lifts!
Kronplatz has 40 huts. Yes, forty rustic snugs,
trendy bars, endless sun terraces. You need to be well organised to try
them all.
